Opensource is like, it’s free, and everybody can add more code on it. It’s a platform where programmers collaborate voluntarily with no copyright thing.
Freeware is made by a certain company or one or more individuals that holds its license, but would like to give it to people for free. Sometimes there’s some limitation on it such as free for home use and not free for corporate use.
Shareware usually means a trial version of an otherwise non-free software. The company “shares” the software with you so that you can try it. It will either expire or comes with some limitation.

Opensource mean the program can be used and modified by anyone. Freeware mean the program is free to use but it’s copyrighted so no modifications to it should be made and no profits should be gained from it. Shareware means the program is free to use for a period of time but after that it’s no longer free to use or expired and cease to work.
